American Thinker: Barack Obama's Day Off

American Thinker: Barack Obama's Day Off

YIKES! Bob Smith talks about our national descent, "from the Greatest Generation of the WWII generation to the WORST GENERATION of the Boomers and Xers?" Nah-nah-nah Roberto, don't lump us Xers in there with the looser Boomers, at least, the older "Sumer of Love" Boomers. The ones who claim to have been at Woodstock or say that they are "Dylan" fans but don't know any of the songs, ala John Kerry. The Pilgrims to Haight - Ashbury.

I'm talking about the the "Timothy Leary" dudes. "Far Out Man!" I think those were the real lunkheads. Most of us Xers had respect for the President of our youth, Ronnie. Whereas it was a Boomer Pastime to ridicule the Gip. We made Patriotism cool again in the '80s and our movies spoke to the American Renaissance, like Top Gun, Heartbreak Ridge, Missing in Action. Our heroes were bigger than life, can-do Arnolds, Sylvesters and Chucks. Well, at least one of those three is a genuine hero and Patriot, in Chuck Norris. Sly is too much in love with being seen at Laker games to be "controversially Patriotic." "THIRTY-SOMETHING"...remember that show? Hah! Boomers, you guys are DONE! Loosers! At any rate...enjoy the following offering from a great source, American Thinker. American Thinker. Now THAT's a real concept, in the age of Obama!

During the Democrat Primary, Hillary Clinton ran a brilliant political ad, painting Obama as the lightweight he truly was.  I didn't vote for Hillary, but I approved that message.  Because we who were honest KNEW she was right!  Now, that doesn't mean that I would rather have a Hillary as Commander in Chief over McCain, as much of a RINO John-O-Mac is, but Hillary over Barry?  Sure.  By a narrow margin.  I gotta admit, it was fun dancing on the grave of Hillary's Presidential aspirations around this time of year, two years ago.

And here we are, these two LONG years later and 3AM telephone call after 3AM telephone call is ringing the phone at 1600 Pennsylvania and Barry can't hit his "snooze" fast enough.  Those pesky, annoying phone calls in the middle of the night!  They are ruining THE ONE's beauty sleep!  How's he supposed to hit a jump shot on the basket ball court or avoid a slice on the driving range with these annoying calls!  The nerve of them!

I like Byron York's take on Obama's ineptitude.  In 2008, Barry was interviewed by CNN lap dog, Anderson Cooper.  Coop asked THE ONE if he could handle an emergency like the (at the time) threat posed by the ominous approach of Hurricane Gustav.  This, in light of the constant reminder of the Out of the Mainstream Media's judgement on Dubya's inability to handle the crisis caused by Hurricane Katrina.  THE ONE compared the size of his campaign staff to Sarah Palin's experience as mayor of the town of Wassilla.  AS IF, because Barry's campaign flunkies, managing an immense campaign that dwarfed the number of town folk working for Wassilla, was evidence that THE ONE could also simply raise his regal chin, wave his limp left wrist and dismiss any crisis that dared challenge the potential legacy of the Savior from Nairobi.  Err, I mean, Hawaii.

Well, it ain't 2008 anymore.  It's 2010.  How do you think that "hope and change" is working out for that their Gulf region?

Steve Wynn: A Confused & Foolish Government

Say what you will about Steve Wynn, the Vegas tycoon.  He tends to be Libertarian, obviously, given his investments and Nevada-style maverick entrepreneurship.  Every once in a while, he sounds off on the federal government and state of the economy.  I find his opinion to be well-informed, excuse you me.  I don't know how else one could reach his status and not be.  Wynn's take on Washington and the negative economic direction that some pretty putrid decisions in 2007 & 2008 took us is well worth listening to.  One thing that any reader of the RedStateRightMind Blog will find out, I am not a mindless water carrier for the RNC.

We don't get a Manchurian President by accident.  Good ole Dubya paved the way for the disaster we are facing from the Despot Apologist we've got right now.  Pardon me, but "suspending free market forces to SAVE Capitalism" is about the worst of the moronic statements our beloved G-Dubb made.  There's nothing "Red State" about bailing out a Wall Street whose abusive use of derivatives and other financial witchcraft has been left unresolved or initiating the "they're too big to let them fail" nonsense.

And now, on to Stevie, baby!  Steve Wynn: STOP THE MADNESS!

Yet Another Marxist Joins Obama Team

Head of Marxist-led Institute Joins the State Department

In what is becoming a routine for the Obamunists, another key position in the Obama Administration has been filled by a former head of a Marxist-led institute.  Personally, I subscribe more to the "Obama is more Fascist than Marxist" view of Obamunism.  So, it should be no surprise that the position of "Policy Advisor for Innovation" is filled by someone who has dedicated himself to the cause of government intervention in the Internet.  Either way you slice it, Freedom of Speech for Obamunists is apparently as abhorrent as free market capitalism.

No Home Owner Bailout for U.S. Soldier Fight for Us in Iraq

U.S. Soldier Loses House Over $800 Debt

What kind of justice is it for our fighting men and women -- who while sacrificing life, limb and earning power -- can have their families thrown out on the street for being late on Home Owner Association dues whereas in the "age of austerity", Banksters rake in record "profits"?  None dare call THIS free market capitalism!

You Can Thank A Marine!

Okay look, here's the deal.

We've got a whole lot of politicians out there who just can't stand to hear you speak your mind. When I say "you", I mean regular everyday folks who are not uber-traders on Wall Street, Corporate Executives or "gift-bearing" Lobbyists.

These recent Town Halls, where regular voters are asking simple questions of their elected officials, is really upsetting Democrats in power and the mainstream media. Expressed emotions on the part of voters and the general public is normally the domain of Liberals, who anger their constituents to a frenzied froth and unleash their fury on Republicans and extort Corporations. See Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader, et all. The out of the Mainstream Media just loves protests, normally. They regularly inflate the number of protesters and their significance to the "discussion". But it is undeniable that the Tea Party protests that occurred earlier this year, along with the Town Hall meetings where Government Run health care is drug through the coals is having a tremendous impact on public opinion.

Even with every major media outlet outside of FOX News and the Wall Street Journal attempting to demonize regular everyday voters to protect their favorite Liberal politicians.

More often than not, we're talking about Democrat voters asking Democrat Representatives and Sentators tough, but basic questions. Because let's face facts, if it were the case that only Republicans were out there making hay, there would be no momentum. Why? Because Republicans lost big in '06 and again last year. Because Republicans are notoriously lazy, uninvolved and disinterested when it comes to expressing public outrage. They tend to express themselves with their feet and their wallets. If all of this expressed outrage was not real and if people were really not that scared of the repurcussions of living under Government Run health care, it would be painfully obvious. But when concerned citizens who refuse to be lemmings go out there and actually seek to hold their elected officals accountable for their actions in the Senate or on Capitol Hill, they are lampooned as (since the Obama election) "racists", right wing extremists, "birthers" and so on.

I mean, you remember how "Joe the Plumber" was savaged by the out of the Mainstream Media for daring to ask then Democrat Presidential Candidate Obama to elaborate on his views on taxes. This is where the teleprompter-lacking Obama made his infamous "spread the wealth around" comment. Nicely done, Comrade Obama. Moderate Democrats ignored the pink elephant in the room and went on to support an unproven, radical who has done nothing to discredit those who questioned his leadership capabilities, let alone his judgment when it comes to national security or sound fundamental economic principals.

There is something unique, something magical about seeing a regular, everyday, lunch-bucket citizen take an elected official to task. Regardless of the Party. I think this is part of the appeal of Sarah Palin. She not only taps into that raw power of the awakened Citizen, she embodies it. Take a good look at her career. You won't find an establishment Republican or money bag (like George Soros, Barackolytes) jumping in to back Sarah. Think what you will about her, it is without question remarkable how she took on the establishment of her own party and won. Who cares whether or not she's a regular on "Meet the Press" or whether or not she reads the New York Times. I think that's part of her appeal. She offends establishment Republicans? Good! That's what I call "Reaganesque". Now if we could just work on those communication skills!

And so, continuing this theme of a regular "Joe" taking on the establishment, I just had to share this video with you. You may have already seen this, but please feel free to pass this on. This is the blessed event where a Veteran U.S. Marine absolutely undresses Democrat Representative Brian Baird of WA at a recent Town Hall meeting.

Please enjoy!

I have seen this about a dozen times or so and still, can't get enough!
